Detailed Itinerary
1st day: Athens - Poros Embarkation from Alimos Marina at 5 pm. Brief description of program, the safety equipment and the facilities of the yacht. Set direction to Poros island. This is a very beautiful one full of pine trees that provide a soft green view. Enjoy your coffee or drink, viewing the lemon tree forest over the channel. 2nd day: Poros - Porto Heli Departure in direction to Porto Heli. Porto Heli stretches around the head of a large bay at the tip of the Argolic peninsula, opposite the well-known island of Spetse. The pine-covered headland almost encloses the bay and creates a large natural safe sailing area. Beyond the bay are attractive pine-fringed coves, quiet sandy beaches and waterside tavernas. 3rd day: Porto Heli - Spetses Departure in direction to Spetses. The uniqueness of this island is achieved by the combination of tradition and cosmopolitan elements. It's worth visiting Dapia (the old gun emplacement), as well as the old harbor, famous for the traditional boat yards. Leaving Spetses don't forget to buy some of the famous marzipans (amygdalota). |
4th day: Spetses - Hydra Departure in direction to Hydra, one of the most picturesque islands of Greece, which carries a great nautical tradition. While approaching the little harbor, one immediately comes in view with the titled roof houses and the pebbled pavements. It’s a must to drink ouzo in the seaside taverns. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, as cars and motorcycles are prohibited on the island. 5th day: Hydra - Perdika On the Southern edge of Aegina lies the small fishing village of Perdika (which literally translated means "partridge"). This is perhaps one of the most picturesque spots on the island, and also a good place to eat as there is a wide range of tavernas, many of whom specialise in fish dishes. 6th day: Perdika - Epidavro Departure in direction to Epidavros. Hold your cameras and shoot, because the view is something you'll want to keep forever. Epidavros is well known for its famous ancient theater, built in the 3rd century BC. In the evening you will have the opportunity to attend performances of ancient tragedies of Sophocles, Evripides and others. 7th day: Epidavros - Alimos Marina Sailing back to Alimos Marina in Athens. |
